This grand cabinet is handcrafted from black lacquer wood and faced with a latticework of ebony panelling and sycamore inlay. The case opens to reveal a maple interior, and sits upon rows of gold leaf spheres at each corner. Below, a black lacquer wood base raises the bookcase off the ground.
